This special room contains materials pertaining to local and state history, both past and present. It also houses SD magazines and a variety fiction books by South Dakota authors. Artifacts from the Grant County Historical Museum are also on display throughout the room.
Newspapers, almanacs and magazines are located in this section.
Wall unit displays the magazines available for patron use.
Picture books, Easy book, Chapter books, children's magazines and audio selections are located here. A comfy double rocking chair is available for parents to read to their children, as well as a reading table, a nice selection of toys and a slide.
The Library has 6 Internet stations for patron use
In addition to the 6 internet/gaming stations available, another 5 computers are located on the south wall for patrons to access the card catalog, play CD-ROM games, and make use of programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Power Point and so on.
