Circulation Policy
Materials are loaned for 28 days, with the
exception of Adult New Books, magazines, encyclopedias and Cliff's Notes;
DVDs & VHS movies (5 days);
Materials may be renewed once, provided that they are not on reserve for another
patron (or a new book). Materials should be brought in to the library
for renewal.
Overdue Procedure
1) There is a grace period of 2 days on
materials, after which a fine of 20 cents per day will be assessed. A
notice of 'fines accumulating' will be mailed when the grace period ends.
2) Four weeks after the original date, a letter of demand will be sent out with the replacement costs and processing fees for each overdue item.
3) If materials are still not returned, the patron's borrowing privileges will be terminated and his/her library account will be turned over to a collection agency.
